I am Michele, and you may know me as mrb488 at Tumblr. I, like many of you, was blindsided by Tumblr's decision to no longer allow NSFW art on their platform as of December 17. I joined Dreamwidth last June but had a hard time figuring out how to use it, and there didn't seem to be any hurry to work it out. Now, I am not old, but in internet terms, I'm ancient and figuring some of these things out makes my brain hurt.

As a rabid Johnlocker, I need my art! I am hoping I can continue to get my fix here and maybe Pillowfort when it gets out of testing. I will still stumble around Tumblr, but I won't be on as much since it sounds like most of the folks I follow are abandoning ship.

I am, as a rule, not a poster of original material. I like to love and reblog others posts to spread the excellence around. If you are an artist of Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, Avengers or most any other fandom, I will share the hell out of your work (always linking back to you specifically), and praise your talents to the world.

As this is a whole new venture for me, I may share more of my personal thoughts and ideas here. In the meantime, allow me to be your 'conductor of light'.

Hello! It's sort of nice to be able to actually communicate easily with people about what they say again. I'm actually pretty excited to see if this will end up with fandom in a stronger place of community again and where everything will land. For now, I'm sort of enjoying the old-school happy fandom vibes dw is giving me :-)
